The MentorHer Mission
MentorHer was born from a profound recognition of the unique challenges faced by girls and women in India as they pursue their educational and professional dreams. Despite making up nearly half of India's population, women remain significantly underrepresented in engineering, medicine, technology, and leadership positions.
Bridging the Mentorship Gap
The genesis of MentorHer lies in a simple yet powerful realization: many successful women today wish they had someone to guide them through their journey – someone who understood their specific challenges, someone who had recently walked the same path, someone who could share not just knowledge but also the confidence that success is achievable. We found that while general career guidance was available, there was a critical gap in personalized, women-focused mentorship that understood the unique cultural and social context of Indian women.
